NetVUE Internship at CMSU (Columbia, Montour, Snyder, Union) - Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (Summer 2025)
Job Summary
The CMSU Intern will support the various programs offered by our agency through shadowing, engagement in projects as needed, meeting with and providing direct services to individuals involved in behavioral health and developmental support services, and engaging in other duties as assigned. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under FLSA regulations.
Specific Responsibilities
The intern would be expected to travel to one of our Danville offices. Duties will vary based on the department’s needs and the skill level of the student. The person in this position will work with various age groups and demographics and must be willing to meet with individuals in office, community, and/or home settings. The intern may also be asked to assist with data entry and other non-client direct services.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Junior or Senior. Psychology major.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with various age groups and demographics
- Reliable
- Ability to be flexible and adjust to schedule changes as needed
- Ability to provide their own transit to one of our Danville sites

Education
Junior or Senior. Psychology major.
Experience
Required to have taken Psychological Disorders course prior to the start of the internship. Preference will be given to applicant who have taken Theories of Psychotherapy.
Location
This position is located in Danville, PA.
Additional Requirements
This position is paid $15.00 per hour, with an estimate of 37.5 hours weekly. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse clearance and an FBI criminal history check are required for this position.
Physical Demand
- Position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to climb stairs and get into and out of vehicles.
- Working conditions are indoors.
